Robert Gales was born in San Diego, CA, and lived there for approximately 8 years. It was then when his family made a life changing decision and purchased Coachland Mobile Home R.V. Park nestled in the hills of Truckee, CA.  Robert lived in Truckee through all of his mid to high school days and eventually graduated with the class of 2004.  In the time spent at Truckee High, he spent much of his free time Skiing at the various resorts located in the Tahoe Basin and Sailing in Lake Tahoe throughout the summer.  It was the southern californian lifestyle to bring sailing to the sierras and adapt to skiing in the off season.  Monday nights are nights where he still will get out on the water of Lake Tahoe and compete with many other sailors in the area from Memorial Day weekend through Labor Day.  Always striving to be the next best at something, it was in his senior year of high school when he experienced a life changing wreck in Skiercross while qualifying for the 2004 X-Games.   This may have slowed him down in the field of skiing, however, simply opened many more doors of opportunity for his studies in the coming months.  

After carefully considering different schools along the west coast, he decided the University of Nevada, Reno was a great fit. It was there where he studied Finance and Economics graduating with a Bachelor's of Science degree with a major in Finance and minor in Economics. It was in the middle of his college career when he joined the fraternity of Delta Sigma Pi, a Professional Business Fraternity known throughout the country.  Quality grades and study habits mixed with enthusiasm to succeed all contributed to his acceptance into this fraternity. Throughout college when he was not busy with school work, much of his time spent was working in banking.  He worked for Wells Fargo Bank for the latter part of college and went on to work with Wells Fargo Advisors upon graduation.  Everything has helped him focus on the area of real estate over the past few years as real estate has always been something he looked to.  While studying invesments and working at the bank, he could not help but to look at the area with such curiousity.  With the evolution of Finance changing the way people can and will invest,  the industry appears to be changing directions quickly while real estate is something that will likely continue needing attention and loyal Agents.  

In his spare time today when the weather is nice you can find him on one of the areas many golf courses or sailing on Lake Tahoe.  When the weather is brisk and cold, as it often is here in the winter months, you can still find him on any of the local mountains continuing his skiing adventures.
